ITINERARY

Day 01:  Arrival Delhi

Arrive at Delhi’s International Airport. Welcome to India! You will be met at the airport by representative. Transfer to hotel. Over night at the hotel

Day 02: Delhi – Agra, 205 Kms    (B)

Breakfast at hotel and will proceed for city tour of Delhi visiting Lotus Temple)– a place of faith that all visitors must see is the Bahai temple, a beautiful marble building in the form of blossoming lotus, surrounded by acres of beautiful gardens. India Gate– at the centre of the city (42 meter, high stone arch) is a memorial raised in honor of the Indian solider who fought & died in the campaign of world war-1 & Afghan war, President House– built in 1929, once the Imperial residence of the the British Viceroys and now official residence of the President of Indian Republic, Parliament House – this circular shaped building houses the two houses of Parliament- The Lok Sabha (lower) & Rajya Sabha (Upper). Its domed central hall is 90 feet in diameter. Then drive to Agra (205 kms, 05 hrs.). On arrival, check-in at hotel.  overnight stay at Hotel.

Day 03:  Agra  (B)

Breakfast at hotel and will proceed for the sightseeing of Agra city first visiting one of the world’s most popular monument – Taj Mahal (it is closed on every Friday) built by Mughal Emperor Shah- Jehan for his Empress Mumtaj Mahal. The construction believed to have taken 22 years to complete with over 20,000 craftmen working round the clock. Now proceed for sightseeing tour of magnificent Agra Fort– built at the bank of Yamuna river, is situated in the center of the town. Various styles of the architecture are evident within the fort & demonstrate the love of Mughal Emperors towards building beautiful monuments. Rest of the time free for shopping. Agra is known for its fabulous marble-made handicrafts and soft stone inlay work. The Mughal were great patrons of arts and crafts. overnight stay at hotel in Agra.

Day 04 Agra – Fatehpur Sikri – Jaipur , 245 kms   (B)

Breakfast at hotel. Then drive to Jaipur (235kms, 5:30 Hrs.) En route visit Fatehpur Sikri– 37 kms from Agra. The deserted city of sandstone built by the Emperor. The city is rectangular in shape with nine huge gates & inside there are palaces, meeting halls (public/ private audiences), huge courtyards. After sightseeing drive to Jaipur. On arrival, check-in at hotel. Then visit Hawa Mahal (Palaces of the Wind)- a beautiful pink colour building having many small windows from where the Royal Ladies watched the annual procession of kingdom. The tourist can take photograph from outside only.  Evening, you will free time for leisure.  overnight stay at Hotel in Jaipur.

 Day 05:  At Jaipur   (B) 

Breakfast at hotel and will proceed for sightseeing visiting Amer Fort – 11 Kms from Jaipur is Amber, the ancient capital of Jaipur state construction of the Fort Palace was constructed in 1652 by Raja Mansingh and it was later extended & completed by the Jai Singh before the move to Jaipur. Enjoy elephant ride (Optional) while climbing up to the Amer Fort.. Then visit City Palace– was the principle residence of the former ruling family and is known for its stunning architecture. It also includes museum, courtyards, and gardens. Then you will free time for shopping. Jaipur is a city of vibrant colors and markets (bazaars) of Jaipur verify this fact. Jaipur’s colorful markets offer a great break to stop and shop on you tour. Usually tourists include shopping and visiting the lively markets of Jaipur in their itinerary. While moving through the markets, you will come across the vivacious culture of this region. Jaipur is the perfect place to shop for Handicrafts, antiques, jewelry, gems, pottery, carpets, textiles, metal work and leather ware. Evening, we will back to hotel overnight stay.

 Day 06:  Jaipur – Delhi – Cochin (By Flight)    (B)

Breakfast at hotel and we will drive back to Delhi (265 kms, 5.5 hrs.). Then day free for own activity / shopping. Overnight at the hotel

Day 07 : Cochin

After the breakfast at the hotel then transfer to Airport to catch the flight for Cochin. Arrive at Cochin Airport and transfer to Hotel. Afternoon proceed for sightseeing of Cochin – visit Dutch Palace Museum, Jewish Street, Jewish Synagogue, St.Francis Church and Chinese Fishing Nets. Overnight stay in Cochin.

Day 08 : Cochin – Munnar (140 KMS – 04 Hours drive)

After breakfast check out from Hotel and drive to Munnar, en-route visit Chiyyappara Waterfalls, on arrival check into Hotel. Evening at leisure. Overnight stay in Munnar.

Day 09 : Munnar

After breakfast proceed for sightseeing of Munnar – visit Mattupetty Dam, Kundale Lake, Echo Point, Shooting Point and Eravikulam National Park. Overnight stay in Munnar.

Day 10 : Munnar – Thekkady (110 KMS – 03 Hours drive)

After breakfast check out from Hotel and drive to Thekkady (Periyar), on arrival check into Hotel. Evening at leisure. Overnight stay in Thekkady.

Day 11 : Thekkady (Periyar)

After breakfast proceed for sightseeing of Thekkady (Periyar) – Activities in Thekkady : Boating at Periyar Lake, Spice Plantation visit, Elephant Ride, Jeep Safari, Trekking, Bamboo Rafting, Massage, Kathakali Performance, Kalaripayattu Performance etc can be arranged at an extra cost. Overnight stay in Thekkady.

Day 12 : Thekkady – Kumarakom (140 KMS – 04 Hours drive)

After breakfast check out from Hotel and drive to Kumarakom, on arrival check into Resort. Afternoon proceed for sightseeing of Kumarakom/Kottayam. Overnight stay in Kumarakom.

Day 13 : Kumarakom – Alleppey (45 KMS – 01 Hour drive)

Early morning proceed for bird sanctuary visit. After breakfast check out Resort and drive to Alleppey, on arrival check into Houseboat (check in time : 12.30 PM – A/C will be operating from 9.00 PM to 6.00 AM). Full day enjoy the backwater cruise through Vembanad Lake. Overnight stay in Houseboat.

Day 14 : Alleppey – Kovalam (180 KMS – 04 Hours drive)

After breakfast check out from Houseboat (check out time : 9.30 AM) and drive to Kovalam, on arrival check into Hotel. Evening enjoy at Kovalam Beach. Overnight stay in Kovalam.

Day 15 : Kovalam – Trivandrum – Kovalam

After breakfast proceed for sightseeing of Trivandrum – visit Sri.Padmanabhaswami Temple, Napier Museum, Sri.Chitra Art Gallery, Zoo, Kuthiramalika Palace and Veli Lagoon. Overnight stay in Kovalam.

Day 16 : Kovalam – Trivandrum Airport (15 KMS)

After breakfast check out from Hotel and drive to Trivandrum Airport for onward journey.
