ITINERARY

Day 1 Delhi
Arrive in Delhi. Check in to the hotel and relax. The National Capital Territory of Delhi (NCT). The people of Delhi are referred as Dilli wallahs or Delhiites.The capital is also known as Dilli, meaning dehleez or dehali—both terms meaning ‘threshold’ or ‘gateway’. Overnight stay.

Day 2:  Delhi
Post breakfast begin your day with sightseeing of Qutub Minar,is the tallest minaret in India, originally an ancient Islamic Monument.Humayun’s Tomb,the tomb of the Mughal Emperor Humayun built by his beloved wife Haji Hamida Banu Begum.  Late afternoon visit to The Red Fort, the home of famous Munhal Emperor Shahjahan where you can enjoy the evening sound and light show. Late evening visit to Jama Masjid where you can enjoy the most delicious mouth watering Mughal Cuisines of Shahjahanbad, i.e., Old Delhi. Overnight stay.

Day 3:  Delhi-Jaipur     (265kms, 5-6hrs)
Post breakfast check out from the hotel and transfer to your next destination. Arrive in Jaipur. Check in to the hotel and relax. Post lunch Visit to Jantar Mantar and City Palace. Evening will be free at leisure. Overnight stay.

Day 4:  Jaipur
Visit to AmerFort, also known as Amber Fort, built by Raja Man Singh I. Amer Fort is known for its artistic style, blending both Hindu and Rajput elements. Post lunch Visit to Jantar Mantar and City Palace.  Evening drive to  ChokhiDhani, a Rajasthani village in the outskirts of Jaipur. Return to hotel and overnight stay.

Day 5:  Jaipur-Agra      (250kms, 5-6hrs)
Post breakfast check out from the hotel and transfer to your next destination. En route visitFatehpur Skirl. The historical city built by Munhal Emperor Akbar and the residence of his beloved wifeJodhaBai. Arrive in Agra. Check in to the hotel and relax. Evening enjoy sunset at Taj Mahal. Overnight stay.

Day 6:  Agra
Post breakfast witness the romantic and most spectacular piece of architecture, the Taj Mahal. Build by the famous emperor Shahjahan in the memory of his beloved wife Mumtaz Mahal. Later excursion to Tomb of Itmad-ud-Daulah, a mausoleum in Agra, often described as “Baby Taj”. Afternoon visit to Old Fort, an early residence of The Mughals which is also UNESCO WORLD HERITAGE SITE. Evening will be free at leisure. Overnight stay.

Day 7:  Agra – Orchha – Khajuraho      (430 kms, 8-9hrs)
Post breakfast check out from the hotel and transfer to Agra Railway station to catch the train to Jhansi. Arrive Jhansi. Transfer to Khajuraho via Orchha. Excursion of Orchha to some of the famous places like Fort, JehangirMahal, Laxmi Narayan Temple and Chaturbhuj Temple.  Evening arrival in Khajuraho. Check in to the hotel and relax. Overnight stay.

Day 8:  Khajuraho
Full day excursion to the famous temples of Khajuraho which includes Vishwanath Temple, Chitragupta TempleKandariya Mahadev Temple, Chaunsat Yogini tample, GhantaiTemple, Adinath Temple. Overnight stay.

Day 9: Khajuraho – Varanasi      (390 kms, 1hr)
Post breakfast check out from the hotel and transfer to Khajuraho Airport to catch the flight to Varanasi. Arrive in Varanasi. Check in to the hotel and relax. Evening drive to Ganga Ghats to enjoy the Aarti Ceremony. Overnight stay.

Day 10:  Varanasi
Excursion to Sarnath. Buddha came to this hamlet, 10 Km. north-east of  Varanasi, to preached  his message “Maha-Dharma-Chakra Pravartan” (in Buddhist terminology, ‘turned the wheel of the law’) after he achieved enlightment at Bodhigaya. In the afternoon visit to the other famous temple of Varanasi like Durga Temple, Vishwanath Temple, Sankat Mochan Temple and Tulsi Manas Temple. In the evening drive to The Ganga Ghats. Shop the famous Varanasi Sarees from the famous markets of Varanasi. Overnight stay.

Day 11:  Varanasi-Delhi      (800kms, 1hr 30mins)
Post breakfast checkout from the hotel and transfer to Varanasi Airport to catch the flight to Delhi. Arrive in Delhi. Check in to the hotel and relax. Evening will be free at leisure. Overnight stay.

Day 12:  Delhi
After breakfast check out from the hotel and transfer to Delhi Airport/Railway Station for your onward journey.
