ITINERARY

Day 1: Arrive in Mumbai
Once you arrive at the Mumbai Airport, get transferred to the hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 2:  Mumbai
Post breakfast, proceed for sightseeing. From the Gateway of India, take a motorboat to the Elephanta Caves, known for having a huge Trimurthi idol, a triple-headed Shiva. Return to have lunch after which, you will visit the Hanging Gardens, Prince of Wales Museum, Parliament House,  Jain Temple and Marine Drive. An overnight stay.

Day 3: Mumbai – Lonavala (120 kms)
Post breakfast, start your 3-hour road journey to Lonavala, a very popular picnic destination. Enjoy leisure activities and visit to Karla and Bhaja Caves. Return back for an overnight stay.

Day 4: Khandala (5 kms)
Post breakfast, leave for Khandala (15 min). Cover the Bhushi Dam where you can have lunch. Enjoy the refreshing environment. Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 5: Matheran (108 kms)
Post breakfast, start the 2-hour journey to Matheran. On arrival, explore the serene surroundings. Visit popular points like Chouk, Panorama, Louisa, Garbut Point and Echo. Stay overnight.

Day 6: Nasik (100 kms)
After breakfast, drive to Nasik, it’s a 2-hour journey. Check-in at the hotel, after arrival transfer. Afternoon visit to Sunder Narayan Temple, Sita Gupta Caves and Trimbak.  Overnight stay.

Day 7: Nasik – Shirdi (122 kms)
Have your breakfast and leave for Shirdi. Once you arrive after a 2-hour journey, more to the hotel. Later, have Darshan at the popular Sai Baba temple. Spend the day at this religious place. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 8: Aurangabad (130 kms)
Post breakfast, start the 4-hour journey to Aurangabad. Check-in at the hotel. Later proceed for city tour after relaxing. You will visit the Daulatabad Fort, Deogiri Fortress, BibikaMaqbara that looks like TajMahal. Later, you will cover Panchakki, a striking water mill. Back to the hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 9: Excursion to Ellora (30 kms)
Post breakfast, leave for an excursion to Ellora caves (1-hour journey), a World heritage site. These 34 caves, built during the 6th and 11th century are dedicated to Buddhism, Brahmanism and Jainism. Popular sites here are Viharaas, Kailasa Temple and the Buddhist VishvakarmaChaitya. Overnight stay in Aurangabad.

Day 10: Excursion to Ajanta (105 Kms) – Pune (226 kms)
After breakfast, leave for an excursion to the Ajanta caves (2 hour journey), a World Heritage Site. These 29 caves, built during 2nd century and 6th century are dedicated to Buddhism. Located in the Sahyadri hills, it has paintings and sculptures depicting the life and teachings of Lord Buddha.  Return to Aurangabad. Start the journey to Pune (6 hours). On arrival, check-into the hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 11: Pune
After breakfast, proceed for sightseeing where you will cover Kasturba Smarak, Raja Kelkar Museum, Shaniwarwada and SarasBagh. Rest of the day at leisure.Overnight stay.

Day 12: Pune – Mumbai (170 kms) – Departure
Start your early morning, road journey to the Mumbai airport to board a flight for your home destination.
